I talk in public. A lot. It is not always for the faint of heart.
When in Auckland talking with someone whom is also not from Auckland, feel free to shock the Aucklanders. The ones with the sly grins and glint in eyes are few and far between. The ones who get out the lift before their actual destination are common. The couples with babies — well — the babies like us people from out of town.
Maybe as we are happy.
Maybe as we look differently at them.
Maybe as we are openly, honestly, and jovially discussing the finer points of some colourful and occasionally uncouth subjects.
Maybe just as we are being genuine. No mask.
Letting ourselves be seen at our worst for adult capitalist society…
But at our best from an untainted babies blue eyes.
