Yes, having a peer support system would be good. How?!
Phone call from Health Advocacy agent
Had a ten minute chat. Some advice received. They will be ringing me back after new appointment with psych people on Monday. Amazing how it takes months to get appointments usually. The fact is I got one for Monday. Which is only two business days wait. I didn’t even have to threaten them or put myself in jail. Or go on national TV.
The advocacy people did not know this appointment had been made. I have been busy all week. Not with fixing my car, not with getting on with my life. But being an annoying adult ADHD case with time to kill. Has been good fun actually. Must take a break from medications more often (!!!maybe not so much!!!)
In quite a nice way it is good that the only provider of such services is not WISE TRUST or their subsidiaries. Although I would love to work with them on a number of things in a professional sense, they would also be good navigators to help me through the maze that people such as Sam McBride take delight in hiding within.
It is nice, in a way, the advocacy agent is not them. Their insurance agents mail is sitting on my desk in my “urgent to do” pile
(along with letters from Police demanding I go to court to face stupid charges such as “cycling with no helmet”, “threatening with intent” and “complete bullshit” and various attempts at debt recovery from the 1990’s… Come to think of it — Had better read those Police ones. Am damn sure those court dates are pretty bloody soon, unless have missed them already. Oooops.)…
My car hit their car, it is alleged….
If anyone associated with the WISE trust reads this, can you please pass on to insurance people that I’ve been somewhat blindsided this week and to send all complaints directly to the CCDHB.
It is their fault.
Not mine. Honest. Wasn’t me.
